Job Description

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Auburn, Indiana patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The position involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with a Monday-Friday schedule plus rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patients (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
