Civil Litigation / Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Location: Kansas City, Missouri Employment Type: Full-Time

A respected law firm in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Civil Litigation / Personal Injury Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to gain hands-on litigation experience while working alongside seasoned litigators on meaningful civil and injury-related matters.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in civil litigation , with experience handling personal injury cases preferred . The firm is particularly interested in attorneys who demonstrate exceptional legal writing skills , unimpeachable ethics, and strong relationship-building abilities.

In this role, you will support cases through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, participating in discovery, and assisting with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. You will also interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues, making professionalism and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in civil litigation

Personal injury experience strongly preferred

Superior legal research and writing skills

High ethical standards and professionalism

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate effectively
