Overview
Radiation Therapist – Radiation Therapy Tech position in Lodi, California, travel - temporary assignment starting 11/01/2026 for 13 weeks, guaranteed 40 hours per week, 5x8 days with a typical shift of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,981 to $3,095. This travel role requires state licensure, ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, and related credentials.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed ionizing radiation treatment to patients according to physician prescriptions and charts
- Verify patient identity and ensure correct treatment location, while explaining procedures and safety precautions
- Prepare treatment room and equipment, set up immobilization devices, and transfer patient to treatment couch
- Deliver prescribed daily dose under radiation safety guidelines, monitor patients for reactions, and communicate issues to the supervisor and physician
- Maintain treatment records and patient charts, review data to prevent errors and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide supervision and evaluation of students or trainees as applicable

Requirements
- California licensure in Radiation Therapy (or eligible) and BLS required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T) required
- Certification in Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT) required
- Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred
- At least two years of recent experience in radiologic technology required; Elekta experience preferred but not required
- Fluoroscopy permit preferred; CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor preferred, with BLS required
