About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYN Case Manager for a 15-week contract in Juneau, Alaska. The RN will provide comprehensive ambulatory nursing and case management services for OB/GYN patients, including assessment, care planning, patient education, referrals, follow-up, and coordination across the continuum of care.
The position requires strong independent nursing judgment, patient advocacy, clinical documentation, and collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. An active Alaska RN license is required at the time of submission.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized nursing plans of care.
Coordinate OB/GYN patient care, referrals, follow-up services, and continuity of care while assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system.
Administer medications and treatments, perform appropriate clinical procedures, and recognize changes requiring intervention or provider notification.
Provide culturally responsive patient and family education related to care plans, medications, treatments, and ongoing health needs.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation while supporting patient safety, infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum 2 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required; OB Case Management Experience Required.
Current, Active Alaska Registered Nurse License Required at Time of Submission.
Current BLS Certification Required; Case Management Certification Preferred.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
Ability to Work a Monday Friday Day Schedule and Complete Required Credentialing, Including Fingerprint Processing, Prior to Start Required.
