Medical Device Assembler, R&D - Irvine

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Medical Device Assembler, R&D to work with a leading medical device company in Irvine. This role is based within the Research and Development department, where you will play a key part in assembling and packaging innovative products under the guidance of the line lead and supervisor.

Shift Patterns:

• Monday- Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
• Must be flexible to work overtime

Pay Rates:

• 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D:

• Do you have 1 to 2 years experience as a Medical Device Assembler?
• Are you able to do small part assembly work using a microscope?
• Are you comfortable performing basic math calculations required for manufacturing or assembly tasks?
• Have you worked in a clean room environment?

Desirable Requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D:

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and how it functions
• Solder and gluing experience of small parts under a microscope
• Manufacturing parts for R&D
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended period of time

Role for Medical Device Assembler, R&D:

• Assemble and package medical device products following written and verbal instructions
• Document production processes on build records and complete quality control forms
• Assist in manufacturing prototypes for R&D projects
• Identify production issues and collaborate with technicians and engineers to implement solutions
• Practice continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing and value stream mapping

Location: Irvine. This position is located in a professional manufacturing environment.
