Electrical Manufacturing Engineer Location: Plattsburgh, NY Role Overview We are seeking experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineers with strong exposure to the rail industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in production support, manufacturing documentation, and electrical harness design/manufacturing, with proficiency in engineering tools and ERP systems.
Highly Desired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in the rail industry Experience in the Multilevel train project (design or manufacturing) Hands-on experience in: Production support Work Instructions MODs (Modifications) CRs (Change Requests) QNs (Quality Notifications) Strong experience in electrical harness design or manufacturing (for Electrical Methods Engineer role) Expert-level proficiency in: Catia V5 3D-COM / ENOVIA PDM systems SAP VSM SAP GSI
Desired Knowledge & Experience5 8 years of manufacturing experience (preferably in railway industry) Strong background in Process Engineering Experience in writing manufacturing work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP): Bill of Materials (BOM) Routings Configuration follow-up Working knowledge of: Quality standards EHS standards Ergonomics Educational Requirements Associate Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or related field) Strong English communication skills (Read, Write, Speak) Behavioral Competencies Effective communication skills Decisive and analytical decision-making ability Conscientious and delivery-focused Logical and well-organized approach Self-motivated and adaptable Ability to stretch and meet expectations
